Where They Dump the Bodies

By April 30, 2008#Life

I recently discovered a room to the side of one of my nursing classes, never spoken of, in which were the piled bodies of mannequins I can only assume were killed by overdoses and abuse of practicing nursing students. After all, it’s the mannequins who are the first to receive our trach care, wound care, and medication administration. Their risk of dying in our first week of the nursing program is pretty high. Needless to say, I wasn’t too surprised, and it all somehow¬†made sense to me. I looked at my fellow nursing students, who’d followed me into the secret room and whispered, “So this is where they dump the bodies.”

This FREAKED me out when I first came onto the page and saw the title. Sick. Just sick.

I know, right? Imagine being me and seeing a dark room with the door cracked open a little, walking in -in the dark- and seeing a pile of bodies!
