So yesterday at 2pm Jill came by work and plopped her Macbook on my desk. It wouldn’t boot up. We have Applecare warranty so I went online and scheduled an appointment at their “Genius Bar” for 4pm. Upon arrival, their tech diagnosed the problem and replaced the failed hard drive at no charge (cuz of previous purchased Applecare) all in about 10 minutes. Apple may be considered evil (read Wired Magazine article), but they are definitely good at what they do.
