Arch Nemesis

By May 22, 2008#Life

Dad’s arch-nemesis was any man in black and white stripes. It didn’t matter if you found them on a football field, basketball court, or baseball stadium… chances are that these men were there and making a “bad call” or else they were accused of pulling a “homer”… meaning that they made calls that favored the home team. This came in especially handy for my high school basketball games, because the refs always managed to make a bad call and my dad would let them know about it. I think in the end my dad got the best of them. After all, with Paul Reed on your side, the calls had better be fair.
