Airports

By August 13, 2008#Life

Remember the days before 9/11 when you could pass through security and see people off at the gate?  I kinda miss those days.  Sometimes I would drive to Detroit Metro airport with friends and we would pass through security and just watch people at the gates.  Most airports were designed and built prior to 2001, so all of their restaraunts are within the security perimeter, making it difficult to meet anyone on layovers.  Jill’s brother Ben and family had a layover last night in Minneapolis, as did my sister tonight… it sure would have been nice to see them even for a half-hour.  Stupid terrorists.
