And together we'll make a day the story of our lives
Coffee Head
It is January 23rd, and so it has been 23 days since I last drank a caffeinated beverage. The last caffeinated drink I had was while celebrating New Year’s Eve with friends -and drinking a delicious coffee.
I honestly thought I would miss caffeine, and I feel I’ve betrayed it by having only a minor headache the following day, and after that feeling better without it. Isn’t that odd? I feel better without caffeine, so maybe it is caffeine who has been betraying me. It was supposed to wake me up, make me feel good and energized.
I am not recommending everyone go without caffeine, because most people aren’t as hyper-sensitive to it as I am. I’m only saying that my heart doesn’t painfully race anymore, I don’t get headaches as often, and I feel more awake without it. I’m not longer a coffee head, or at least I’m a decaf coffee head…

Good for you. It’s great to get to know your body and be disciplined enough to respond to what it’s telling you. I wish all health and energy to you.
Are you writing anything besides this blog? I’d love to hear.
Thank you! It’s really been great. Did Paul talk about making our bodies our slaves rather than the other way around?!
And yes, I am still writing. I write and write and do nothing with it so far, but I love doing it!
